For many students with diabilities, assistive technology (AT) is cirtircal to ensuring participation and progress in the general curriculum. The Assistive Technology (AT) in the the Classroom training will provide an overview and hands-on component of various types of assistive technologies aligned to lesson planning and the B.E.S.T. Standards. Participants will explore ways to assist students in selecting, obatining, and using assistive technology to increase engagement in instructional actiiities. This training s deisgned for teachers, therapists and support staff that support students in all educational environments.
